Organised by CBRNe World, this one-day workshop addresses the growing threat posed by nitazene and its analogues, a class of synthetic opioids now emerging across Europe. The programme explores the challenge from three key perspectives: detection, decontamination and the health implications for those who may encounter these substances. With nitazenes presenting an extremely narrow margin between an effective and a lethal dose, the workshop brings together first responders, military personnel, academics and scientific specialists from European and NATO partner nations to share expertise and develop practical approaches to this evolving threat.
