The quality of the Company's products are designed and built in by utilising appropriate manufacturing methods and systems. These methods and systems constitute the Company's Quality Management System based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
The company has a chemical laboratory accredited by UKAS to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for carrying out chemical permeation breakthrough and physical testing.
Respirex has taken a leading, active and full role in the drafting of the new International and European standards on protective clothing and Safety Footwear over recent years, having representatives on the International European committees (ISO, CEN and CENELEC committees.)
Company representatives also attend working groups within BSI and BSiF, for which we are members, for product development.
